Class Description:

Music therapy is the use of music to target non musical goals in the areas of cognition, social skills, language skills and motor skills. Through the clients’ involvement in the sessions, their skills are strengthened in these areas and are able to be transferred over to non musical settings.

Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers, in this music therapy group, your little one will use music and music based skills to address developmentally appropriate skills such as taking turns, following directions, attending to task, greeting, and interaction with peers. We will sing, dance and use fine and gross motor skills to play rhythm instruments.  This is a wonderful class for you and your little one to bond, have fun, and learn new ways to interact. This class runs for 30 minutes. Children will also have an opportunity for free play after until 11am.

We are shoe free in our space. Adults should bring sock or slippers. We also ask that snacks (expect for bottles and closable drinks) be left in the car or diaper bag.
